Lying approximately midway between Hanoi and Ha Long Bay, the Chi Linh Star golf course is set within a beautiful valley, surrounded by forested hills, rolling creeks and natural water hazards from the surrounding area. A large natural lake in the center of the course ensures that water comes into play on many of the holes. 

The par-4 380-yard second hole is one of the best on the course with a long carry to an elevated well-guarded green. The other memorable hole is the par-5 fifth which features a hill on the right side of the fairway and that large lake mentioned earlier down the left side. Chi Linh Star was the prized venue of the 2004 Carlsberg Masters – the first Pro tournament in Vietnam.
