The FLC Halong Bay Golf Club couldn’t be better located, the facility looking out on to the UNESCO world heritage site of the Halong Bay and its limestone towers. Needless to say, the setting is spectacular and the dramatic terrain offers a drastic departure from the sandy dunes of coastal Vietnamese golf sites. While the focus is on playability and scenery, there are a variety of challenges to test the skills of even the most seasoned golfers.
Several greens have a stunning backdrop of Ha Long Bay, framed by rocky outcrops and mature native vegetation, punctuated with pine trees. Set above a series of high ridges, the course features dramatic, sweeping views and significant elevation changes. Most holes feature wide fairways and accessible landing areas but be wary of the sea breezes that require accurate club selection a key to shooting well.
